Chris is a leading asset management specialist with over 20 years’ experience in the field of maintenance, process, and mechanical engineering across a diverse range of industries including power generation, distribution/transmission, nuclear science, mining, manufacturing, facilities, defence and other sectors. He has worked at all three levels of an organisation from being a hands-on tradesman through to a technical engineer and senior manager.
His extensive research in the field of change management, risk management and optimised asset performance has made him highly regarded globally in these areas of expertise. Recent work has been focused on a risk-based approach to cost optimisation in large organisations. This has led to the reduction of work loading to align with the down scaled resource levels. This was all achieved by not compromising the integrity of the asset and performance preventive maintenance effectiveness.
