About Peter

Peter Durrant commenced a dedicated maintenance career as an electrical fitter and an electronics technician. Peter holds a Diploma of Engineering and an MBA in Technology Management. He worked his way up through the ranks in the Navy to hold senior engineering roles both at sea and ashore with the submarine arm. After the Navy, Peter transitioned through facilities maintenance in the service sector to senior management roles in the resource sector with WMC Limited. Peter has also consulted and contracted in various maintenance and asset management appointments across industry. Peter has a broad, balanced view of the maintenance craft. Peter has significant experience in work management and the behavioural aspects of sustainable organisational change with operators and maintainers.

About Brian

Brian is an an experienced facilitator, coach and mentor and an excellent communicator able to share vision with passion at all levels within an organisation. A fitter and turner by trade, he achieved success as a senior leader working at all levels within the organisation learning invaluable lessons at the coal face and honing these skills as he progressed to more senior roles. In his previous role as Methanex NZ, Director of Manufacturing, he was directly responsible for the overall business performance/results of three methanol plants (producing up to 2.2 million tonnes per year) along with their associated storage, transportation and loading facilities. Brian was also one of three Directors for Methanex NZ Ltd, an active member of the Methanex Global Manufacturing Team and executive sponsor of the Global Maintenance Management Team.

About Drew

Drew Troyer has 25 years of practical experience as a reliability engineer and an asset management thought leader. An advisor to hundreds of blue chip clients, Drew brings a wealth of experience and creativity to organisations to enable them to increase the productivity, safety and environmental performance of their engineered assets, while simultaneously reducing the cost of ownership. Drew holds the Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and MBA qualifications. He is also deeply passionate about land conservation and preserving our natural resources for future generations.

About Michael

Michael’s lubrication and oil analysis experience spans 40 years in Europe, Arabian Gulf, Africa, New Zealand and Australia. He joined Noria Services as Training Consultant in 2013. He has managed Oil Analysis Laboratories, including the development and implementation of a modern Laboratory Information Management System (managing samples from sample registration, laboratory sample testing, interpretation of results by laboratory experts, and reports to the customer). To improve customer knowledge of oil analysis, Michael has written extensively and presented training in lubrication technology, oil analysis tests, understanding result data and failure analysis.

About Bob

Bob has over 30 years in maintenance and asset management across utilities, mining, manufacturing, facilities, defence and other sectors. His work has led to improved deployment of asset management systems, advanced reliability assessments of facilities throughout the world and mentoring of private and public organisations in all aspects of their asset management requirements. Bob commenced his career in the NSW power stations where he earned a PhD in the fluid dynamics and aspects of life assessment of coal fired boilers. He then joined the Faculty of the University of NSW, lecturing in mechanical design, maintenance and reliability, and undertaking asset management research throughout industry. In 2000 he formed Covaris, an integrated services and technology company, to progress practical techniques in the asset management transformation of businesses. Recent work has focused on the implementation of ISO 55001 asset management, asset portfolio planning and effective analytics to drive continuous improvement in both costs and asset capability.
